What Is CBD ?
CBD is adaptogenic to different cells, organs and body systems.
According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, several studies suggest that CBD effectively counteracts the psychological effects of THC, making it safe for children, pets and those who do not enjoy the “high” associated with cannabis use. In late 2017, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has removed CBD from its prohibited substances list. According to their announcement, “Cannabidiol (CBD) is no longer prohibited” underneath the list of prohibited Cannabinoids. Therefore a game-changer for professional athletes around the world.
CBD is non-addictive.
According to the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.” That said, CBD is safe regardless of delivery method.
